Big tits and redemption in Japanese Anime
I marvel at the Japanese, their lust for life, their joie de vivre. Thank god for sushi, but their views on sex are just so weird, so strange. In Anime (and Manga, Ecchi, Hentai and the like), we catch a glimpse of something very, very dark. Americans enjoy our share of violence and sex, for sure, but not quite so disturbingly intertwined as this, or this or this.
The Anime aesthetic is not without its merits, however.

[…] Anime is weird, and that weirdness is rooted in the overall weirdness of Japan. It’s a strange place. Like all islands, its inhabitants are possessed of strange customs and practices. Japan, like England (another island nation), has developed an elaborate manners system… lots of arbitrary, silly little rules, that just make outsiders stick out as much as possible. I guess living with so many rules has its side-effects. Japan is, as far as I know, the only place in the world where overwork is a leading cause of death. The call it karoshi Sheesh!
