I guess living with so many rules has its side-effects. Japan is, as far as I know, the only place in the world where overwork is a leading cause of death. The call it karoshi Sheesh! All of this strangled personal expression, that is so characteristic of the Japanese, does find occasional outlet in some pretty cool shit. Anime is cool shit from Japan, yo.
